Since 2014 Alain Poot, a third generation large flowered-cymbidium grower has prolonged his family business independently under the new name Alain Poot Orchideeën.  Alain is highly experienced in cultivation having worked in the family business since 1997.

The nursey has a total area of 1.05 ha. Where we work with a passion for breeding and cultivation of our own special and unique varieties. ... Dare to be different!

Alain specializes in the breeding and development of new species. Did you know for instance that Milou, Noah, Naomi and Danique are Alain’s own species?

Constantly searching for and developing new and special characteristic flowers! Quality and sustainability are paramount. Quality is further optimized by treatment of the flowers with, for example, Aquaox and Ethyl Bloc.
